Terms of Use

By using Inner Threads, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for access to your ChatGPT account and for activity under your authenticated session.

Personal-growth tool only

Inner Threads supports journaling and self-reflection. It is not psychotherapy, medical care, diagnosis, clinical assessment, crisis intervention, spiritual authority, or a substitute for a licensed professional. Developmental roots, Threads, dream lenses, prompts, and AI-generated Landscapes are hypotheses generated from limited text. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not applicable. Keep what is useful and reject what is not.

No monitoring or emergency response

Entries are not continuously reviewed by a person or monitored for danger. Saving language about suicide, abuse, violence, medical emergencies, or other risk will not reliably notify anyone or trigger help. In the United States, call or text 988 for crisis support; call 911 for immediate danger or a medical emergency.

Your content

You retain your rights in the content you enter. You give Inner Threads the limited permission needed to store, process, display, organize, export, and delete that content as part of providing the service. Do not enter content you do not have the right to use.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation, upload unlawful material, impersonate another person, or use the app to harm, exploit, stalk, or threaten anyone.

Availability and changes

The service may change, be interrupted, or discontinue. Features, including browser speech recognition, may vary by device. You are responsible for exporting information you wish to preserve.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law, without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inner Threads and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions made in reliance on reflections produced by the service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and delete your Inner Threads data from the Account tab. Access may be limited or terminated for misuse, legal requirements, security concerns, or discontinuation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where the service operator is established, without overriding consumer protections that cannot legally be waived. This provision should receive legal review before a broad commercial launch.
